Become an Agent of Change!

Registration is now open for the Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge, a nationwide sustainability challenge for K-12 students to create innovative "green" solutions their communities. Middle school students (6-8) will be our first recruits into the Agents of Change, followed by elementary school students next year and high school students in 2010.

By partnering with Discovery Education and the National Science Teacher Association, the Siemens Foundation can offer unique web resources to maximize participants’ scientific inquiry-based challenge experience … and empower them to become Agents of Change in their communities. Submissions for the Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge will be accepted through March 15, 2009, and the first 100 teams to register will receive a Planet Green DVD set! Challenge prizes will include cash, teacher educational resources, unique Discovery educational travel experiences and a student showcase on Discovery Networks Planet Green.
